Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, son of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, has filed his nomination for the Lok Sabha election from Kerala's Wayanad constituency.
In his affidavit, Rahul Gandhi has declared movable assets worth Rs 9.24 crore, including cash, bank deposits, bonds and shares, mutual funds, and jewellery.
The movable assets breakdown includes Rs 55,000 in cash, Rs 26.25 lakh in bank deposits, Rs 4.33 crore in bonds and shares, Rs 3.81 crore in mutual funds, and jewellery valued at Rs 15.21 lakh.
Rahul Gandhi holds immovable assets valued at Rs 11.15 crore, which include co-owned agricultural land in Delhi's Mehrauli with his sister, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
The agricultural land mentioned is inherited, indicating a family legacy in property ownership.
